Which brian greene book should i read first

I really, really loved reading them several years ago, but have since forgotten much of it. I'm considering re-reading them. Since I first read them, however, I've become aware of the issues with String Theory. So I ask, given that the two books are written in the perspective of one of the most prominent String Theory advocates, would it be better for me to find something else to read? Are the two books more or less ATM? Join Date Jun Posts 2, Originally Posted by Hungry4info. This is in the southern Arizona desert.

That being said, Greene does a very good job of explaining mainstream physics in a common language with little use of math. I found that reading it several times helps in understanding what he is explaining. I always get something new with each reading. Anyway, I think they are good books for someone who want to gain a layman's understanding of physics and cosmology.
